Our History

ReStraL History

ReStraL came into operation on August 1, 1996 to provide management consulting services as a viable indigenous alternative to the multinational consulting practices dominant in the country at the time. The founding Chief Responsibility Officer, ReStraL’s euphemism for a CEO, was Ms. Ifueko Omoigui (now Omoigui Okauru).

The firm started from her home in Surulere and in August 1997 moved to its own office space on Plot 1664, Oyin Jolayemi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos (now the Zain Headquarters).

In 2001, it took up bigger office premises on the 12th floor of the St. Nicholas Building, Lagos Island.

In 2004, Ms. Omoigui Okauru accepted an invitation into national service by the then President Olusegun Obasanjo as the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, thus handing the management of the firm over to Ms. Uwa Osa Oboh, both a founding member of the firm and a Partner at the time. Over the years, the firm’s offerings have grown, as has its client portfolio and reach.
